We have good news to share!
– A mental health client has been accepted into the Webster University MBA program and begins classes this month!
– Darrell is housed and employed!
– We set a daily attendance record this year for the Clothing Room giveaway. The previous record was 157 until the Program Support Services team and volunteers assisted 172.
– Tara went to family court and regained custody of her daughter who was in state custody.
– Indy used to pay $30 to cash his social security check. After meeting with an SPC financial stability counselor, he opened up checking and savings accounts and saves that fee.
– The Program Support Services team tied its record of daily client intakes this year. Staff and students completed 63 general intakes in one day!
– Danny obtained his Shelter Plus Care voucher and will be housed soon.
– Amy was matched with a mentor in Project REACH, and even though she has completed the REACH program, Amy and her mentor still keep in touch!
– Mickey, who has been homeless for several years, now has keys to his new apartment!
– Nicole recently celebrated four months clean and sober and is using her spirituality to assist her with her recovery.
