St. Patrick Center’s Project HERO employment program was featured in a front page article in the St. Louis Post Dispatch on September 11, 2010. Designed to move homeless veterans toward permanent housing, self-sufficiency and community integration, Project HERO has experienced incredible growth and success since its inception in 2008.

In Fiscal Year 2010, we placed 30 honorably discharged veterans in housing and stabilized an additional 19 vets for more than one year, ending more than 131 years of homelessness. A total of 49 vets received comprehensive housing and employment assistance.
