December 2010

• A Shamrock client told his case manager: “A lot of us come here with no hope. You and your
team gave me hope and do an awesome job.”

• Rich is now housed in his own studio apartment!

• Bob was accepted to a technical college! In preparation, he wrote an essay with proofreading
assistance from his case manager. Bob’s essay resulted in a scholarship!

• Paul is celebrating one year drug free!

• A former BEST client stopped by to thank St. Patrick Center and his case manager. He has
kept his job for five years and gets a paid vacation for the first time in his life! He is also getting
some new teeth and enjoying his sobriety.

• After several months of looking, Sandy got a job through the SLATE Youth Employment
program!

• After years of living on the streets or in shelters, Keith will soon be in his own apartment!

• Roger, a graduate of the BEST program, is now studying IT at Ranken Technical College. He
applied for a scholarship and, out of hundreds, his essay was one the scholarship winners!

• A former Shamrock client, now living in Arizona, called St. Patrick Center on his one-year
sobriety anniversary to say thanks!
