• A St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter working on two SPC stories donated $100 from his wallet on his way down the elevator after he saw a sign requesting donations!
• An ACT client was reunited with his mother for Thanksgiving, after 10 years apart!
• Another ACT client, now housed and taking his medications, decided to call his father during the holidays after many years of not speaking to him!
• Kim is working on her first semester of classes for massage therapy!
• The program support services team, including AARP volunteers, assisted 203 people in the clothing room on a single day in December, breaking their record of 179!
• A GO! Green City Seeds graduate has reached one year of housing and employment!
• One of the Shamrock Club Women’s Night program clients is working to receive her sign language certification. She has volunteered her time to interpret for one of our emergency clients and shadow another client who is deaf!
• A Project Protect client has moved into housing!
• Another Project Protect client completed the Fast Track GED class, took the GED test and was asked to tutor new GED students!
• More than 155 soccer players in the St. Anselm Athletic Association held a “Score Against Hunger” food drive and collected protein items (peanut butter, tuna, etc.) for SPC clients!
