St. Patrick Center hosted a Veterans Appreciation Picnic on June 15 to say ‘thank you’ to its clients who have provided military service to our country. KTVI/KPLR-TV and KSDK-TV showed up to document the celebration and aired the story on their June 15 news broadcasts.

The picnic featured comments by St. Patrick Center staff and clients, music and a BBQ lunch complete with hot dogs, side dishes and dessert. Each veteran also received a gift bag to take home with them.

Partners of this event included the American Legion, the City of St. Louis, Hope Recovery Center, The Mission Continues, Missouri Career Center, Operation Home Front, St. Louis County, Soldier’s Memorial and Veterans for Peace.
