• Charlene, a JET graduate, got a job as an employment specialist and says she is now helping people in the same boat that she just climbed out of!

• A Shelter Plus Care client is now housed and working full time as a basketball coach!

• Charles, an ex-offender and homeless veteran, completed recycling/waste management training through the Veterans GO! Green program, which led to employment with a local company that recycles electronics. He is also housed through GO! Green!

• A volunteer who was unable to make her scheduled dinner service to the Women’s Night Program instead ordered pizzas and salads for the clients and had them delivered!

• Jada is employed full time and ready for housing!

• Jean, an ex-offender who struggled with mental illness and gambling, graduated from the Homeless Employment Program and McMurphy’s Grill. She is now housed and working a clerical job!

• Brake Landscaping hired a Veterans GO! Green client after first providing SPC with snow removal services and later training GO! Green clients in landscape and lawn care. 

• Staff members who volunteered for the Pot O’ Gold kettle drive at Culinaria downtown told several stories about meeting former clients who donated to the rainbow kettle!

• Two Shamrock Club clients completed their taxes at the free TAP site and opened bank accounts!
