• Project Protect welcomes a new baby girl to one of the program’s clients. The baby girl was the mother’s first baby born without exposure to alcohol or drugs!

• Daphne, a housing client, worked hard to pay down her gas bill from $2,200 to ZERO! 

• A Schnucks customer bought a bottle of BEGIN New Venture Center company Craig & Toni Quality Products’ Millie’s barbeque sauce and liked it so much he went back the next day and bought every bottle on the shelf! 

• A McMurphy’s graduate has moved on to full-time employment with benefits! He has also completed his parole and moved from a community release center into housing.

• Congrats to practicum student Casey who obtained his Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. For his graduation party, Casey held a personal care/hygiene item collection drive for St. Patrick Center clients!

• A Project Protect client was granted physical custody of her children and is working on getting legal custody.

• A donor who wishes to remain anonymous stopped by the receiving dock to donate 50 pair of brand new shoes! 

• Two housing clients have been approved for Shelter Plus Care housing!
