Since 1983, St. Patrick Center has helped lead more than 114,000 homeless and impoverished to lives of self-sufficiency and dignity. This would not be possible without the support of our community. Thousands of donors like you have taken up our mission and helped us with generous donations. Because of our donors, we witness truly life-changing moments in our clients’ lives, and we share their success with you!

The face of homelessness has changed. While the chronic homeless comprise 10% of our population, 90% are the transitional homeless – individuals and families who are our neighbors. People who have come upon hard times and need help to get back on their feet. People like Joe Koski, whose success story will touch your heart in the video link below.
The money you donate to St. Patrick Center receives "four-star" fiscal management. In May 2006, for the 2nd consecutive year, St. Patrick Center was awarded Charity Navigator's highest rating for sound fiscal management. Charity Navigator evaluates the financial health of the largest of America's 1.5 million charitable organizations. According to Charity Navigator, fewer than 12 percent of charities rated have received two consecutive 4-star evaluations. "St. Patrick Center outperforms most charities in America, said Charity Navigator Executive Director Trent Stamp. “They are fiscally responsible and worthy of the public's trust."
Please consider a donation to our homeless and poor neighbors. With your help, we will continue to serve more than 9,000 persons each year, providing them with the programs and services they need to move from homelessness to independence.

Why We Give: The Dana Brown Charitable Trust
“The Dana Brown Charitable Trust focuses on the health, education and welfare of children. In eleven years, we have given away $35 million. Recently, the Trust awarded $25,000 to St. Patrick Center’s childcare center and parenting education classes.
St. Patrick Center is one of the great success stories. I first met Leo Paradis (Director Emeritus) eleven years ago and was so impressed with the way the organization was run. St. Patrick Center’s leaders are wonderful stewards with the resources they’ve been given. The agency is results driven, with clear, measurable outcomes.
Giving is also a part of my personal philosophy. My wife and I have been very blessed in our lives; hard work has been part of the cosmic equation that has led to a comfortable life. We feel it’s our moral obligation to share some of our blessings with people less fortunate, and we do.”
