Joe Koski has been permanently, positively changed

“I started tearing up and that’s when I realized, I’m really graduating! I’m finished! I’ve done something I can be proud of.”

When we introduced you to Joe Koski, he was getting settled into an apartment after being homeless for most of his life. Joe is bi-polar, and St. Patrick Center’s ACT program helped him with medication, housing and employment. Joe called us recently to tell us that he graduated from Vatterott College with a certificate in refrigeration. Joe has been working at Ace Laboratory Systems since November 2006, and has lived in the same apartment for three years. He is still writing poems, and is also working on a book.
