Tim Rush always envisioned more for his life than the way it turned out. Using drugs and dealing them landed him in prison on more than one occasion. Tim didn’t like what he had become, so when St. Patrick Center visited his halfway house, he paid attention.
Tim enrolled in Project REACH because he was looking to make changes in his life. He worked with his case workers to get a driver’s license, and find stable employment and an apartment. “When you decide to do things for yourself, St. Patrick Center will go the extra mile for you.”
Tim’s first job was a laborer for a temporary agency, and after setting goals, he moved into a better position as a maintenance man for a trucking agency. He also secured his forklift certification. Today, Tim is living within his means, in an apartment with his son. He enjoys
spending time with all of his children. “I’m happy… I have peace that I haven’t had since probably college.”
