St. Patrick Center could not function without its thousands of volunteers! The time and talent of these generous workers fuels our agency's day to day activities. Additionally, through their support of our fundraising events, volunteers help raise more than one million dollars a year to fund St. Patrick Center!
Day-to-Day Volunteer Needs The Partnership Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:30, and we can almost always find something that
Every volunteer at St. Patrick Center helps build permanent, positive change in the lives of homeless and poor individuals by supporting agency staff. The time and talents of volunteers, when matched with our needs, make us more cost-efficient and effective as an agency. Every volunteer task, whether large or small, skilled or unskilled, benefits our clients. Because of the personalized nature of our agency’s work, our priority for our clients’ dignity and our adherence to privacy laws, most volunteer tasks do not involve direct contact with St. Patrick Center clients.
Event volunteers St. Patrick Center hosts several fundraising events each year, and volunteer duties include event day staffing, materials preparation and planning committee work.
Service learning volunteers St. Patrick Center has several volunteer opportunities for high school and college students--age 16 and older--who need to fulfill community service hours. Opportunities include sorting clothing and canned goods, serving lunch, administrative duties, bussing tables, supervising children and more.
