Since 1983, St. Patrick Center has helped more than 105,000 homeless people make permanent, positive changes in their lives. We are nationally recognized for innovative programs that empower individuals and families to move from homelessness to independence in measurable, cost-effective ways.

In Fiscal Year 2006, St. Patrick Center served 9027 individual persons who were homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Our one-stop Partnership Center in downtown St. Louis gives clients easy access to St. Patrick Center's 22 programs and 11 partner agencies.

  • Multiple episodes of homelessness over at least a three-year period of time
  • Generally has a severe mental illness along with a substance abuse disability
  • Comprises ten percent of the homeless population

Veterans
St. Patrick Center served 1,243 veterans (unduplicated) in a 12-month period ending June 2006. This accounted for 14% of the population served at the center. Primary service areas: The Employment Program served 540 veterans. Additionally, 348 were served in the Shamrock Day Treatment Program and 178 in the Substance Abuse program.


Grace Hill Clinic Located at St. Patrick Center
During the calendar year 2005, a total of 1,114 unduplicated clients, with 2,938 appointments were seen in the clinic.

Logan Chiropractic Clinic Located at St. Patrick Center
During the fiscal year 2006, a total of 609 unduplicated clients, with 6,019 appointments, were seen in the clinic.

ABE/GED Program at St. Patrick Center
During the fiscal year 2006, a total of 202 clients/students, with 2,314 attendance days participated.
