Give Thanks Thanksgiving distribution program: November 21 & 22, 2011This Thanksgiving, help a family in need. St. Patrick Center’s Give Thanks Thanksgiving distribution program will assist more than 400 clients and their families. We need donations of non-perishable food items, shopping bags, turkey pans and gently-used winter coats. We also need volunteers for the Give Thanks giveaway at St. Patrick Center on November 21 & 22, 2011. 	Christmas Wishes family sponsorship program: December 15 & 16, 2011 It’s your opportunity to play Santa, because your donation makes it possible for many St. Patrick Center clients to give Christmas gifts to their children.  In 2010, more than 200 donors adopted more than 600 clients and their families and bought Christmas gifts on their wish lists. view the 2011 Christmas Wishes fact sheet read the 2010 Christmas Wishes results
	Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway: August 2012   Every year before the start of school, backpacks full of school supplies go to hundreds of our clients’ children, as well as other school children in need. Thanks to the generosity of local parishes and businesses, St. Patrick Center collected and distributed more nearly 2,600 donated backpacks full of school supplies in August 2011!  The Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway is spearheaded by the Fred Saigh K.I.C.K. program at St. Patrick Center. Each summer, “Kids Interested in Caring about Kids” enlists the St. Louis community to help homeless and poor children prepare for the coming school year. And I don’t think you know how really amazing that was to all of us — but especially me. To have Christmas together and be totally stressed and sad about not being able to give the kids what they wanted is how it would have been, had you not been so generous. I don’t really know what else to say without repeating myself, but you made our Christmas so wonderful, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
