A quick look at how many people we served with our 22 programs in Fiscal year 2006.

  • Mobile Outreach: Counselors met with 604 people on the streets.

  • Casserole Program: 60+ church groups (2300 volunteers) served 130,000 meals.

  • Neighborhood Support: 1203 poverty-level families received assistance.

  • Client Intake, Assessment & Tracking Program: Counselors completed 4821 new assessments.

  • Shamrock Day Program: We served 2129 clients.

  • Substance Abuse Treatment Program: We helped 1210 clients dealing with substance abuse & mental illness.

  • Women’s Night Program: 58 mentally ill women received shelter & support.

  • Rosati Transitional Living Center: We served 77 clients.

  • Child Drop-In Center: 1439+ children were cared for while their parents received services.

  • Shamrock Evening Program: We had an annual membership of 225.

  • Job Skills Training: We helped 142 clients find & retain employment.

  • Independent Living Skills: We had 754 graduates.

  • ABE/GED: We taught & tutored 202 clients.

  • Homeless Employment Program: We helped 251 people find employment.

  • McMurphy’s Grill: 66 clients participated in the restaurant training program.

  • Veterans Employment Program: We placed 294 veterans into full-time jobs & 48 into housing.

  • Transportation Assistance Program: We provided transportation subsidies to newly employed clients.

  • Project REACH: We placed 18 ex-offenders into full-time jobs.

  • Operation Independent Housing: We helped 22 clients & their families find & retain market-rate housing.

  • Housing Support Program: 531 clients & their families received financial support to move into permanent housing.

  • Assertive Community Treatment: We have housed 99 clients, ending 333 years of homelessness.

  • Disaster Recovery Team: We assisted more than 1500 Hurricane Katrina individuals & their families.
