    Group Opportunities
St. Patrick Center welcomes groups to help us on weekdays. Due to space constraints, we cannot take groups of more than 15 people. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Most groups are needed during those hours to sort donations of food and gently used clothing, though other opportunities and needs exist. Scheduling is very flexible — help for a few hours or a whole day!

Be a Pot O’ Gold Kettle Drive Team in 2012!
Help St. Patrick Center in your own neighborhood! We would love to have your group help us with our Pot O’ Gold Kettle Drive in March 2012. With approximately 12 people, you can staff a POG stand at a Schnucks near you to raise cash and change for permanent, positive change!

Student group opportunities: St. Patrick Center also offers degree-seeking college and university students a variety of opportunities to apply classroom learning in a practical setting.view the Practicum & Internships webpage

Weekend and evening opportunities are extremely limited, but include the following:

    • On the second Saturday of each month, we can take one group of up to 10 people to help facilitate our public clothing giveaway from 7:45am to noon. Please plan ahead; most of these dates are claimed months in advance.
    • The Women’s Night Program serves dinner to approximately 15 ladies each evening. Volunteer groups are needed to donate, prepare and serve the meals. Dates must be scheduled in advance.
    • Additionally, we serve lunch to the public 364 days a year. Groups of no more than 5 people can schedule dates to serve. (Note: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are fully covered by our Board members.) Volunteer spots fill fast! Check availability ahead of time.

Groups can also contribute to our mission by:
