Lace up for a morning of purpose, pride, and community! The 10th Annual Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk brings together participants of all ages to honor those who have served and support veterans experiencing homelessness in St. Louis. Proceeds benefit Catholic Charities’ ministry St. Patrick Center serving more than 800 veterans each year with housing, employment, and long-term stability.
Why We Run
Last year, thanks to donors, sponsors, and volunteers, St. Patrick Center served 4,223 people, including 813 veterans. We connected 89 veterans with jobs and placed 743 veterans and their families in permanent housing.
Specialized programs like SSVF and Project HERO, housed at Freedom Place, provide veterans experiencing homelessness with mental health counseling, substance use treatment, transportation, and employment services. Every step you take in the 5K helps us continue this mission and make St. Louis a stronger, healthier community.
