All Programs

At St. Patrick Center, we offer over 30 programs to help transform lives and create a community where everyone has access to sustainable housing, employment, and healthcare. Click on each name to learn more about that program!

  • This program is a rapid rehousing program providing short-term rental and utility assistance to individuals or households at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

  • This program utilizes an intensive, integrated, community-basted to provide around-the-clock case management, psychiatry, housing, budgeting, vocational and peer support to adult individuals diagnosed with serious or persistent mental illnesses. Mental, behavioral and physical health services are also provided.

  • Short-term housing program for individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness that bridges people to permanent housing.

  • Intake specialists complete intakes and housing assessments with individuals and households who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. The team also makes referrals to emergency shelters, St. Patrick Center programs and programs at partner organizations. Individuals and households are able to work one-on-one with case managers to achieve housing stability. An on-site occupational therapist also provides services.

  • As the City of St. Louis’ lead outreach agency, St. Patrick Center coordinates outreach teams to offer people experiencing homelessness 24/7 access to shelter or short-term housing. This program identifies individuals who are experiencing homelessness, many of whom struggle with mental illness, substance use, or other severe barriers to housing and health stability. We provide outreach, referrals, emergency food and clothing, and transportation to shelter or hospitals on an emergency basis to people experiencing homelessness, mental illness and substance use disorders. We also act as a liaison between service providers and hard-to-reach clients.

  • Grace House offers a wide array of resources to help clients increase their physical, mental, and social well-being to achieve and sustain stable housing and self-sufficiency. Individuals who come to Grace House will have the opportunity to work with St. Patrick Center staff to find shelter, connect with support services, spend time on the computer, use a telephone and receive snacks and water, as well as 3 meals a day.

  • We provide monetary assistance for past due rent and utility bills to individuals or households who are at risk of homelessness due to nonpayment.

  • This program provides supportive services to individuals who are chronically homeless and high utilizers of hospitals and emergency rooms. Services include: homeless coordination, housing and access to a provider network which utilizes a Housing First framework that works directly with Behavioral Health Network, BJC Healthcare, Mercy and SSM/SLU hospital.

  • In partnership with Barnes Jewish Hospital, BJC Healthcare, Foundation for Barnes Jewish Hospital, and Behavioral Health Network of Greater St. Louis, we provide housing and support services to people who are chronically homeless and high utilizers of hospitals and emergency rooms.

  • In partnership with SSM Health, SLU Hospital, we provide an on-site homeless coordinator to connect patients who are homeless with coordinated entry services and community resources before they are discharged from the hospital.

  • Monetary assistance for first month’s rent and deposit.

  • We provide monetary assistance for past due utility bills to our clients and other who meet Dollar More eligibility criteria.

  • In partnership with the Missouri Department of Mental Health and U.S. Veterans Administration, we move veterans who are experiencing homelessness toward permanent housing, self-sufficiency and community integration.

  • This Housing First program serves clients with high needs to maintain their housing and provides the long-term, wrap-around support they need to deal with severe behavioral health issues and maintain stability.

  • We provide housing, intensive case management and support services to families who are homeless and have lost custody of heir children or are at risk of losing custody due to parental substance use issues.

  • This Housing First program offers rapid entry into permanent housing, short-term case management and rental assistance and connections to community resources for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

  • This Housing First program offers rapid entry into permanent housing, short-term case management and rental assistance and connection to community resources for single men experiencing homelessness.

  • At Rosati Center, this Housing First program serves clients with high needs to maintain their housing. We provide the long-term, wrap-around support individuals need to deal with severe behavioral health issues and maintain stability.

  • At Rosati Center, we operate an intensive residential treatment program for people over the age of 18 who have a primary mental health diagnosis and have been referred to us by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, a community mental health agency and BJC Behavioral Health.

  • At Rosati Center, we provide supportive housing, case management and wrap-around services to help clients live as independently as possible with severe and persistent mental health diagnosis.

  • St. Patrick Center’s longest-running program, Shamrock Club provides outpatient services to people who are homeless and seeking help with mental health and substance use. Intensive case management services include individualized treatment planning, case management, drug and alcohol education groups, plus referrals to housing, employment and other needed services. We also offer daily meals, access to emergency food pantry, laundry and showers, a safe place to rest away from the outside elements.

  • Through the Department of Mental Health, we provide rental assistance and help connect individuals who are experiencing chronic homelessness and have a disability with stable housing.

  • In collaboration with Affinia Healthcare, we meet with clients to help them achieve long-term, stable housing. We focus on mental health, substance use, health care, financial and other needs as we connect them to resources in their community.

  • In partnership with St. Vincent de Paul, this Housing First program provides short-term case management support to clients in need of additional assistance to maintain housing. Support services may include connections to community resources, budgeting and employment assistance.

  • SSVF is one of St. Patrick Center’s largest programs, funded by the U.S. Veterans Administration, covering nine counties in the St. Louis region. This program assists veterans and their families with case management, homelessness prevention and rapid transitions to housing.

  • In partnership with the VA, this program provides veterans with their choice of housing, plus short-term rental assistance and case management, until they are able to take over full payment of their housing expenses.

  • One of St. Patrick Center’s longest-running employment programs that helps veterans experiencing homelessness to reintegrate into society through meaningful employment. This program also provides support services such as bus passes, work shoes and tools, interview clothing and haircuts.

  • In partnership with the VA, this program provides transitional housing beds to veterans in need of short-term housing, with the goal of moving them to permanent housing within 90 days. Case management services play an integral role in helping veterans achieve goals, attain self-sufficiency and lead productive lives.

  • The Client Welcome Center serves as a walk-in access point that links individuals and households who are either at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness to our Coordinate Entry team and over services.

  • In one of St. Patrick Center’s longest-running programs, we provide emergency shelter, including three meals daily and access to showers and laundry, to women experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders. The program includes case management and other support services to prepare the women for permanent housing. In FY21, the program expanded from 20 to 30 women.

  • Following the supportive employment model, this program offers clients three different paths to employment, depending on their skill sets. This program couples individualized case management with a strong working partnership of around 65 community businesses.
